Our CDs

CDs are produced in a teamwork between students of the club and teachers of WUN group. Students of the club are responsible for CD production, teachers of WUN group are responsible for content of the CDs. All our CDs are focused on a hands-on lab experiment containing protocols for teachers and students. Each experiment is surrounded by teaching materials and background information.

CD XXIX: Nanopor Sequencing of the CRISPR/Cas9 cutted plasmid pBR322

With the self-produced CRISPR/Cas9 endonuclease, a targeted cut is inserted into the plasmid pBR322. The cut is detected both by gel electrophoresis and base-exact by Oxford Nanopore sequencing.

CD 28 deals with a CRISPR/Cas9 in-vitro experiment to cut DNA of a phage at a selected nucleotide and the estimation of expected fragment lengths in gel electrophoresis.

CD XXVII: DNA-Isolation

CD 27 is focused on the experiment of DNA isolation out of human cheek cells.

CD XXVI: Epigenetic

CD 26 deals with the experiment of DNA-methylation and the proof of successful methylation by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP).
